Bowing to the Inevitable 35 x 25cm

In August I walk my dogs through fields of sunflowers, their serried ranks marching like soldiers to face the sun. I see them in all their states... from the first little peeping bud, through their glorious days of grandeur, and finally to their fading, bowing and dying.
